Hello.

I would like to know if there is a driver for eMMC chip:

MTFC8/16/32/64/128GAP made by Micron (vendor)

The driver is for Linux.

I am targeting to work with LS1046A using the latest Linux Kernel of 4.x.x version (supplied/distributed as yocto) as supported by the NXP staff/community.

If there is no specific driver - what can I do to modify an existent driver of other eMMC memory chip?

Here is a link of the eMMC datasheet:

https://www.micron.com/-/media/client/global/documents/products/data-sheet/emmc/automotive/auto_emmc...

Thank you.

NXP Linux BSP for the LS1046a supports eMMC 4.5. See documentation for this BSP.

The MTFC8/16/32/64/128GAP documentation shows that these eMMC are backward compatible with previous MMC. It means that special driver is not needed for this eMMC.

Have a great day,
