Card lockup problem

Hi,

We are using T1042 CPU on our board. And package is built from yocto with follow meta-freescale commit id. linux kernel version is 4.14. 

we met an card reboot issue in field. The reboot reason is external watchdog. we have a process to fed the external watchdog periodically. Looks CPU was lockup/idle at that time so that cannot fed the watchdog.

Do you have any suggestion or debug method for this issue? thanks.

Possible points to check are:

1) ensure that the processor is not overheated

2) using CodeWarrior QCVS DDR Tool verify that DDR controller settings are optimal

3) whether external ESD events are possible?

4) if it is a single board failure - look for manufacturing defects

Further detailed investigation is possible if the issue can be replicated in the lab.
