Running Automatic Applications

Hello,

             I am using MPC8323E-RDB board for Linux application development. I want to run my C application automatically right after boot-up. How can I achieve this on my board. Please, respond as soon as possible.

Now I wanted to remove terminal from my MPC8323E-RDB board i.e, it should not appear after boot-up, so what can I do to knockoff terminal.?
