Hi NXP team,

In out application we use PMIC (PCA9450 and IMX8M Plus)

We want to use the power plug feature that the device will automatically start (meaning the user does not need to press any key to start) so how do we need to configure the hardware?

Thanks and best regards,

Hi Ritesh,

Thanks for your support.

Could you please explain the behavior of this signal(PMIC_ON_REQ and  ONOFF signal
) in detail?

Thanks and best regards,

Hi @ChienNQ,

For PMIC_ON_REQ signal understanding, one can refer to the PCA9450 PMIC Datasheet.

For ONOFF signal understanding, one can refer to Section 6.5.2 Functional Description of the i.MX8MP Reference Manual.

I hope it helps.

Thanks & Regards,

Hi @ChienNQ,

I hope you are doing well.

One needs to assert the PMIC_ON_REQ signal from the processor to turn on the PMIC and its respective power rails.

One can refer to the i.MX8M Plus EVK schematic and follow the same.

I hope it helps.

Thanks & Regards,
