I have attached a comparison table mentioned on the product page of MC33665A where 2 IC are available.
I am not able to understand what exactly gateway means in this reference.
Does it mean that IC with CAN-FD gateway will communicate with MCU via CAN_FD and the same for SPI?

Dear Rohan,
there are two MC33665A versions. There used to be three versions, but MC33665A UART to TPL transceiver was withdrawn from production. There are left CAN FD to TPL transceiver (or gateway MC33665ATF4AE) and the SPI to TPL transceiver (or gateway ). Both of them are used for controlling of more, than one BCC (Battery Cell Controller e.g. MC33774A) with one MCU. Please refer to white paper which can be downloaded from the MC33774A product page.
In the prinscreen below the MC33665 is the SPI to TPL gateway.
With Best Regards,
Jozef
