Hi,
Target AP : MIMX8QX1AVLFZAC
Target Memory : LPDDR4
I saw these device are different "power up time" with SW5 DDR power channel between MC33PF8100CCES and MC33PF8100FJES, and OTP version "CCES" is not recommended for new design at PF8100 data sheet.
Thanks,

Hi YOUNG KEE JUNG,
1. Can we use the MC33PF8100CCES instead of the MC33PF8100FJES?
[A] Yes, you can use the MC33PF8100CCES instead of the MC33PF8100FJES. The only technical difference is the timing as you have found in the OTP reports. The output voltages are the same. The target market for both is the Automotive.
2. Why does not recommend the OTP "CCES" version?
[A] NXP decided to discontinue this type, there is a business reason behind it. Not a technical reason. NXP does not recommend the part be designed into new end products. No discontinuance decision has been made, and all minimum longevity commitments will be honored. When a decision is made, it will be communicated through NXP's product discontinuance process.
3. If we use the CCES version, will it affect to the AP?
[A] Only the SW5 will turn on later. If this is not crucial for your application, then it will not affect it.

Jozef
