Dear Forum
I'm currently implementing the PF1550 to power an i.MX-RT1060
For my application I would need to exit the PMIC 'SHIP' mode by using (pulling low) the 'ONKEY'.
The datasheet (Rev 7) got me confused as on page 24 in table 26 the following is stated: "BATFET open, no LICELL connected. VSYS = 0 V, only awake from ONKEY enabled." This gives the impression that this function is supported.
However, on page 75 it says: "The only way to exit from this mode is by a charger attach event. The state machine exits to the REGS_DISABLE state when this happens. A battery reattach can also be used to exit SHIP mode."
Does the PF1550 support exiting from SHIP mode by using the ONKEY? And is there a register to enable this perhaps?
Kind regards
Simone Matthys

Dear Simone,
ONKEY cannot be used to exit SHIP mode. To wake up from SHIP mode, you need to attach a charger or reconnect the battery. There is no register setting that enables ONKEY to wake the PMIC from SHIP mode.
