FS26 non-AUTOSAR driver - How To?

Dear,

we are using the FS26 in a design around a TMS570 MCU. I already have access to the respective FS26 driver (FS26_4.4_1.0.0_RTM_D2209). As far as I understand, this driver can support both, AUTOSAR and non-AUTOSAR implementations (please confirm). We do not use AUTOSAR.

Since we do not use the S32DS, I was wondering how I am supposed to configure the driver for this use case. A quick walkthrough or pointers to relevant documentation would be appreciated.

Further, I understand the FS26 safety manual to cover only S32K type MCUs (please confirm) and that I would have to qualify my use of the driver myself. Is this the case?

Thank you.

Dear Julian,

this would be a question for an MCU team. I do not support MCUs, but analog devices and sensors. The PMICs and SBCs included. Could you please create a new case here? In the Subject and/or in the Description please mention the S32K3 and TMS570 MCUs and the MCU support team will help you. Please also check following links. It might be interesting for you.

Thank you for pointing me to the release notes. Will install S32DS and try the non-AUTOSAR instructions.

Apparently the non-AUTOSAR approach also assumes usage of S32K3? Could you add some information on usage with the TMS570? The respective application note on the TMS570 does not contain details on driver aspects.

What is the expected way to use the FS26 in conjunction wihtt a TMS570 with respect to the driver?

E.g. Am I supposed to generate a plain C driver for an S32K3 using this driver package and port that over to the TMS570 (big endian)? Any suggestions welcome.
