Can I modify the application schematic of a MC33772BSP1AE to be equal to a MC33772BTC0AE?

Hi Community,

I was wondering if I could use a #MC33772BSP1AE (predisposed for cell monitoring) as a current sense IC as it is the #MC33772BTC0AE (since the latter it is not available in the market right now) by just using the specific application schematic provided at pg. 122 of the datashee

Hi Alessandro,

unfortunately no. If you need only the current sense, you cannot use the #MC33772BSP1AE. You would need to use minimally 3 Cells with this BCC (Battery Cell Controller). But you can use our newer MC33772CTC0AE.
