Two Master and one slave by using two PCA95111

Hello team.

I want to use two Master and one slave by using two PCA95111, each with input ports connected to a SMBUS master. The output ports of the two buffers are connected together. By controlling the EN signal, only one buffer is enabled at any time. Can I use it this way?

Hello Aris,

yes, you can use the PCA9511 for your configuration.

Please note, that is takes time from low to high on the ENABLE pin to the PCA9511 to be ready. Please refer to Figures 16. 17. 18. and to the Table 5. in the PCA9511 datasheet.
