Request for Support – Output Shorting Issue After Pulling Up Power-On Pin

Hello Jozef,

I am facing an issue with one of our designs and would appreciate your guidance.

We have pulled up the POWER_ON pin as per the requirement, but after doing this, we are observing that the output pins appear to be shorted (or are behaving as if they are shorted). We are not able to understand the root cause of this behaviour.

Could you please help us understand:

1. Why the outputs become shorted after pulling up the POWER_ON pin?

2. Whether there are any specific configuration steps or hardware conditions required for this pin?

3. Any recommended diagnostics or checks to isolate the issue?

If needed, I can provide the schematic snippet or measurement screenshots.

Hello Shivani,

please share your schematic with voltage levels and part values. Is the issue repeatable? On how many boards do you see this issue? If you replace the PF5020 for a new piece, is the behavior the same?
