Hello,
I am trying to configure RTC PCA21125, but not able to overwrite the default data of its RTC register.

Using SPI communication protocol.

what are the points should I take in considerations to initialize RTC PCA21125?
what are the points should I take in considerations for being able to read the real time data through RTC clock ?

Hello,

I hope all is great with you. Thank you for using the NXP communities.

As we know, the transmission is initiated by an active HIGH chip enable signal CE and terminated by

an inactive LOW signal. The first byte transmitted is the command byte (see Table 40 and Figure 20). Subsequent bytes are either data to be written or data to be read. Data is captured on the rising edge of the clock and transferred internally on the falling edge.

Could you please share the procedure followed? An oscilloscope trace would be useful.

Regards,

David
