I am doing iperf test of IW612 and 88W9098. On both modules, throughput are very low outside anechoic chamber when they are configured to 802.11n/MCS7 on 5GHz circumstance; Please see the below for actual measured values.
Are there any possible wifi chipset side factors that may relate to this problem?
<iperf test result>
<802.11n/5GHz/MCS7>
anechoic chamber, distance 10m: 57Mbps
office, distance 1m: 58Mbps
office, distance 10m: 1.4Mbps
<802.11n/2.4GHz/MCS7>
anechoic chamber, distance 10m: 59Mbps
office, distance 1m: 46Mbps
office, distance 10m: 22Mbps
<802.11ax/2.4GHz/MCS7>
anechoic chamber, distance 10m: 75.5Mbps
office, distance 1m: 74.5Mbps
office, distance 10m: 68.7Mbps
→tested 2 IW612 modules, and both had similar results.
88W9098:
<802.11n/5GHz/MCS7/Spatial Streams:1>
anechoic chamber, distance 10m: no data
office, distance 1m :44.8Mbps
office, distance 10m: 7.3Mbps
