I have been using Ltib for quite a while, but never touched its kernel customization.

I handed in a project recently. from kernel configuration GUI, I can see a driver had been added into kernel's driver list.

Since I need to add all the source into ClearCase for source control, I would like to learn, how a non-original driver been added in to kernel. is there a procedure to follow?

Thanks.

You can refer to hello_mod package in LTIB. It shows an example of how to build and load a customer kernel module.
