I don't see the maximum ID current or Output power in the AFT27S010NT1 datasheet, is there a related limit ?

Hello,

I hope all is great with you.

Please review the typical characteristics below:

You may find further information about all its frequency range at AFT27S010N datasheet.

I hope this information helps.

David

I would like to ask if there is a maximum Continuous Drain Current?, in my simulation the ID current is around 2A. Is this acceptable?

I mean is there a maximum drain current like the above table, I just want to make sure my simulation drain current 2A is ok .

Hello,

Please accept my apologies for the misunderstanding.

The AFT27S010N is optimized for Class AB operation. Idq is typically set at 90mA.  Depending on output power level desired.

Class A operation would require an Idq of around 1000mA.

I hope this information helps.

Regards,

David

In my simulation, with the transistor operating at class E, IDS(ON) is about 2A.

From your answer I'm not sure if the transistor can withstand 2A (AC),

thanks

Hello,

I am pleased to contact you again. I hope all is great with you.

You are correct, based on the statement above, the device might not withstand such operational conditions.

I hope this information helps.
