In order to meet the differing requirements in HetNets, which deploy a mix of radio access technologies and cell sizes to optimally respond to the demand for high-quality mobile broadband services, OEMs need to design the most optimal base station for the different deployment scenarios. This session will provide an in-depth look at the unique features, architecture and capabilities of the QorIQ Qonverge B4860 SoC and the new QorIQ Qonverge B3421 SoC along with its rich ecosystem enabling fast development. The B4860 SoC for large cells delivers an unequaled throughput and capacity by integrating 10 high-performance programmable cores, application-specific accelerators for baseband (MAPLE) and Data Path Acceleration Architecture (DPAA) for backhaul.
