Hello everybody,

I am new to NFC technology, so sorry for this newbie question.

I have a tag embedding ST25TA2KB-D chip (NFC Forum Type 4, 2KB EEPROM, ISO 14443A ).

Can I read/write the tag with PN532?

Using my Iphone 11 I successfully read/write the tag.

Hi @mdc93 ,

yes, the chip itself is fully capable of doing that.

I just want to point out that it is not recommended for any new designs and neither it is supported from our latest NFC Reader Libraries. 

I highly recommend to go with something newer, such as a CLRC663, PN5190 or maybe a open-controller like the PN7462 (depends on your system).
