The customer is using an NXP S32K118 EVB with the LIN stack (LIN 2.0 protocol) and encountering terminal errors when loading a new LDF (LIN Description File). The same LDF works fine in CANoe, but not in NXP Design Studio.
- Error: "Issue: %error Error: xxxxx.ldf line: 111 "NodeName" Frame sporadic_frame_name- Missing frame in LDF Configurable frames in Node Attributes.

- Error disappears when the sporadic frame name is manually added to the
configurable_frameslist — which is unexpected behavior.
Is this a Design Studio issue, a limitation of the NXP LIN stack, or a problem in the LDF file?
Why does the tool require sporadic frames in configurable_frames, when this isn’t standard per LIN 2.0?

Can you share the LDF file used by the customer?
From LIN spec I read the following, which I understand that all frames shall be listed in Configurable Frames, even sporadic frames.
