Hi.

I'm having a problem configuring the CAN4 port in the s32k396. I copied the same configuration from CAN0 and CAN1, into CAN4, but the configuration gets an error explaining that I should disable CANFD in CAN4. I have tried, but I cannot find where to disable the options. (I'm using tresos Studio).

Thanks in advance.

Hi @MaMM

Could you please check this article? https://community.nxp.com/t5/NXP-Model-Based-Design-Tools/Communicating-over-the-CAN-Bus/ta-p/175845...

It contains a step by step guide on how to configure CAN component options, providing an overview of the main settings available in the configuration tool.

Hope this helps,

Irina

Hi Irina.

Since I am using Tresos, it was not so clear how to disable the option you mentioned. I was finally able to delete that part of the configuration and configure CAN4. Once compiled, I was able to see messages through CAN4.

Just to mention, the CAN4 of the processor board is connected to the CAN2 of the MB board, and the CAN2 of the processor board needs to be connected via cable routing to a transceiver on the MB, as I mentioned in another post.

Miguel.
