s32k146 - External mode - Simulink 2022b

Hi,

I'm working with a S32K146EVB-Q144 board, programmed from Simulink version 2022b.

I'm capable of flashing it with very basic codes, but so far I haven't been able to run it in external mode, and I can't find documentation on how to do that.

Question 1: Is it possible to do it from my version of simulink?

Question 2: If it is possible, then what am I suppose to change in the code (I can't attache code to this message, so check following screenshots - its very basic)

Note that on this last figure, if I check "External mode" then nothing works anymore. I can't even flash it.

Question 3: Once parametrised correctly, what is the procedure to enable the external mode? Use the SIL/PIL app, or the embedded coder app of simulink?

Objective: Change the values in the constant blocks "a" or "b" and get their sum on the dispay block while seeing the LED turning on when this sum is <3.
