Hİ @mariuslucianand,
We are currently using NXP_MBDToolbox_S32K3xx version 1.5.0 for the S32K3xx processor. We need to use the MC33774A block in the NXP_Support_Package_BMS toolbox. However, the BMS toolbox is only supported in the 1.4.x versions of the S32K3xx toolbox. Will a compatible version of the BMS toolbox for S32K3xx version 1.5.0 be released? If it is to be published, how soon will it be published? The continuation of the project depends on the answer to this question. If it will not be released soon, we will continue with one of the 1.4.x versions for the S32K3 xx toolbox. It would be very helpful if you could reply in a short time.
I wish you a good day.
Hello @oktobayram,
Thank you for posting your question on our forum!
The MBDT for BMS 1.1.0 has been designed to work with the MBDT for S32K3 1.4.0 because both of them generates code on top of the same RTD version 3.0.0. All the code accessing the hardware si generating using the MCAL layer of the RTD for S32K3. MBDT for S32K3 has been migrated to RTD 4.0.0 but not the BMS SDK, and this is the reason why the MBDT for BMS is not compatible with the MBDT for S32K3 1.5.0.
On our current planning, we are expecting that by the end of Q4 2024 we will release a MBDT for BMS 1.2.0 to be compatible with the MBDT for S32K3 1.5.0 but, this statement is subject to change and it is influenced by the BMS SDK, the main component integrated in MBDT for BMS.
Hope this helps,
Marius
