Hello Sir,

How do I use Freemaster for MBD toolbox MPC5744P rev2.0.0?

If  disable the freemmaster settings, CAN Bus can send messages normally,

The setting screen is as follows:

The error screen is as follows:

My adapter is vector VN1630a in the list of supported devices, and show that communication could not be established after I clicked "Test connection" bottom .

The setting and error screen is as follows:

Looking forward for your reply.

Thanks a lot.

Hi Eric,

You have discovered a bug in the our setup.

I was able to reproduce the issue using this setup: MPC5744P evaluation board and IXXAT USB2CAN and the 500kb speed

I might have a quick and dirty fix for you until we will have a more stable hotfix. This fix works only with this setup which is similar with yours

Workaround:

- go to {toolbox install dir}\mbdtbx_MPC574xP\mbdtbx_pnt\mbdtbx_pnt\ folder and make a backup copy of mbdtargetmainlibpnt.tlc file

- copy and replace the file attached here in the {toolbox install dir}\mbdtbx_MPC574xP\mbdtbx_pnt\mbdtbx_pnt\ folder

- delete any previous generated model and build again the application.

Please confirm if it works or not in your case.

Thank you!

Daniel

Hi Eric,

We need to know what we have done so far in terms of configuration.

From FreeMASTER/Project/Options you need to setup and configure the CAN communication.

Only some CAN drivers are supported. Is your adapter in the list of supported devices?

Looking forward for your reply.

Thank you!
