Evaluate Resolver and Generate PWM in MBDT without eTPU - MPC5775E

Hello NXP MBDT Community,

I would like to develop motor control application software for a MCSPTR2A5775E motor DevKit with MPC5775E board using the MBDT.

Two essential functions, resolver feedback and three-phase PWM output signals, are using the eTPU. The MBDT does not have feature blocks/functions set up the eTPU-related functions.

Here is the same topic, but did not get the support to have those two functions achieved successfully.

Would you please kidly support this topic, please?

Thanks

MCSPTR2A5775E motor DevKit with the MPC5775E board using MBDT. It seems that you are facing challenges with setting up the resolver feedback and three-phase PWM output signals using the eTPU. I apologize for the lack of support you received previously. I would be happy to assist you in finding a solution for achieving those two functions successfully. Follow My Health

Hi @victormarcel036 ,

Thanks for replying to my message.

Is it possible to achieve these two functions without using eTPU?

Alternatively, if eTPU could work with MBDT, how would it work?

Would you advise, please?
