Concurrent use of MQX3.7 and MQX3.8

Hi,

made one project with MQX3.7 and CW10.1. Project almost finished, some support still needed.

Don't like to upgrade this project to MQX3.8.

Now starting a new project, want to use MQX3.8 and CW10.2.

Is it possible to install MQX3.8 and still the older MQX3.7 stays operable?

Is CW10.2 compatible with MQX3.7?

At least this need to be changed when switching MQX3.7 <-> MQX3.8:

MQX_PATH=C:\Program_Files\Freescale\Freescale MQX 3.7

Is there any other MQX-settings in registry which need to be changed?

Mark,

its not a problem to have installed different versions of MQX an CodeWarrior (and other) compilers. The only thing you have to do is to manualy install CodeWarrior extensions (TAD, RTOS adaptor, Wizards,..)

from "src\tools\codewarrior_extensions\CW MCU v10.2\"

You will be able to open existing projects created for MQX 3.7 & CW 10.1, modify, debug,...etc.

The only thing which is not supported in 10.2 is new project wizard for MQX 3.7
