S-record format

I plan to send the bootloader in the S-record format through serial communication, but the problem is that there is no setting in the project settings to transform or create the S-record format when building. Does anyone know how to do it?

 Notice that the extension of such file is *.mot.

So, does that mean that it is only possible with .mot files? Is there no way for binary files?
