Questions abort MPC5748G LIN

Hi:
I have two question about receiving the LIN msg on the MPC5748g.
1.is it possible to use MPC5748g as the master node and receive the lin frames from the other master nodes?
2.According to the two receiving configurations in Figure 45-40 and Figure 45-45, I want to receive lin frames,
I need to know the frames id and Data Field Length.
Can I receive frames from LIN BUS if I do not know the information of receive frames?

Hi,

1) No. The LIN bus uses a master/slave architecture consisting of a single LIN master and one or more LIN slaves.

2) No, every node (Master/Slave) connected to the bus must know which frames are defined for the bus (PID, number of data bytes, publisher/subscriber, checksum used).
