Hi,
Neither the datasheet nor the reference manual of MPC5644A states what is the maximum allowed frequency for the eTPU2. The eTPU2 can run at system clock, ok, but is it allowed to put the system clock at 150MHz when the eTPU is enabled and configured at fsys? Indeed, other devices of MPC56xx family usually limit the eTPU around 132MHz...
Thanks.

In general eTPU2 can run at 200MHz at most.
eTPU on MPC5644A can run at 150MHz when configured for full system clock. Note that eTPU graphical configuration tool use maximum value 145MHz, but qualified device is capable to achieve 150MHz. It is needed to edit c:\Program Files (x86)\Freescale\eTPU Graphical Configuration Tool\conf\etpucpu.ini and fix max system clock for MPC5644A to 150MHz:
[MPC5644A]
module=eTPU2
engines=1
system_clock=150
etpu_clk_prescaler=1
STAC_bus_available=Yes
template=template_MPC5644A

Thanks. Again, can this be added to documentation please?
I don't see the reason for that. MCU's system clock cannot run above 200MHz. Currently there is no device running above 200MHz excluding 264MHz with MPC5674F in Enhanced mode (IPCLKDIV = 0) where however fetpu=fsys/2.
In my eyes it would be redundant information.
