Hello,

We bought a MPC5775E 3-phase PMSM Development Kit

Question 1: What is the PowerSBC board

as I see the jumper name in the following table are all on MPC5775E-EVB. But what does here PowerSBC-Board mean?

auftrag2021_0-1648417050065.png

Question 2: Until now I am only using the on-board debugger, no external JTAG debugger. What do I need to configure the jumper J119? shall I follow the  default setting (2-3, 5-6, 8-9, 11-12, 14-15) or the instruction in the table above?

Question 3: jumpers on power stage board

It seems there are different options to setup the jumpers below on the power-stage board. Which one shall I choose?  the default setting? or something else.

Hint: I am newbie by this Motor-control kit. I want keep the program as simple as possible. Just let the PMSM running without many debugging effort.

Hello,

Question 1: What is the PowerSBC board

The author of the web page, incorrectly copied/understood the quick start guide document.

In fact there are 2 boards :

1. Control board and

2. 3-phase low-voltage power stage board

Here are the correct jumper settings:

1. Control board

If you dont need JTAG just leave it in default. If you want access device via JTAG follow the jumper settings of J119.

Best regards,

Peter

Where do these screen shots coming from? Which "quick start guide document" do you mean?

I have now serious problem to drive the PMSM. I need very badly the full-document to have a better understanding

besides, the jumer setting for the power board is still unclear to me. Which option shall I supposed to configure? all default?
