MPC5744P Software Functional DMA test

For the safety functon, for the Core module it request to do software functional DMA test. It said "This is a software solution. Application engineers are asked to periodically execute Self Test pattern to test the DMA functionality". Who could help to tell us how to do this test?

Below picture come from FMEDA_MPC5744P_Core_Example_rev_3_6_2.xlsx, it listed this safety measure.

Hi,

the thing is that the FMEDA document is always customer and his application specific. I would recommend to ask author of this document for hints.

By the way, there are some implementation hints for the DMA in the Safety manual:

The safety manual of MPC5744P doesn't have the explanation for the pattern test of DMA.
