MPC5645S DCU3 Maximum Panel size.

HI Guys, we're going to be using the DCU3 in the MPC5645S and in the manual it says maximum TFT panel size is Wide VGA 800x480. Could the DCU3 run a 800x600 panel? The DCULite can have a panel up to 1024x768 but our 176PIN MPC5645S LQFP does not incorporate the DCULite, only the DCU3.

So do you think the DCU3 could drive an 800x600 RGB Panel?

Probably not. DCU3 itself is capable to deliver resolution up to Wide VGA (800 x 480).

AN4865 described also impact of used memories - it mentions resolution up to 480 x 272 (WQVGA). I assume higher resolution had no sense to analyze.
