In the MPC5777C, I will not be using the FEC Ethernet controller. However, it would be nice if I could increase the total internal RAM such that the cores/applications could put variables in the FEC internal RAMs. Is that possible?
Also, what is the size and number of RAMs embedded in the FEC?
Thanks.

Hi,
I have tried it and it seems FEC MIB RAM can be used as "normal" RAM when FEC is disabled. Is is small area 0xFFF4_C200h–0xFFF4_C3FFh and it can only be accessed by 32-bit. Also access time is expected to be slower (access over PBRIDGE).
FEC FIFO RAM does not seems to be possible to access directly.
