Hi everybody,

I am trying to test non-correctable Flash ECC error reporting on an MPC5643L following guidelines of the mentioned Application Note.

After error injection, I am observing two different situation:

1) with ECSM.ECR.EPFNR set, if I try to read corrupted flash, device is reset

2) with ECSM.ECR.EPFNR not set, I am able to catch IVOR1 exception but, obviously, it is impossible to distinguish ECC error causes (RGM_FES is 0).

Has anyone encountered same problem?

Please pay attention to section 7.1 of mentioned AN5200 that describes exactly what you are asking.
