Sometimes connecting things requires a lot of cables because the component you need alone doesn't have the correct connector to mount on an evaluation board.   A few weeks ago, we needed to connect this display Adafruit 1.54" 240x240 Wide Angle TFT LCD Display to some FRDM boards.
