Th release notes of SPSDK v1.10.1 (https://github.com/nxp-mcuxpresso/spsdk/releases/tag/1.10.0) includes this statement:

Where can I find this "CMSIS DAP FW v3" ?

As far as I know, the latest (published) version of CMSIS-DAP is v2.1.1 (https://arm-software.github.io/CMSIS_5/DAP/html/dap_revisionHistory.html)

OK, I see, so the release notes refer to MCU LINK FW v3, implementing CMSIS-DAP v2.1

 - V3.108 - Updates to CMSIS-DAP 2.1 and uses WinUSB for communication to host PC
