SWO Trace Debuggiing examples

Hi to you all,

I'm trying to use LPCLink2 to debug my application, which is based on a LPC4370. I need to profile a function I wrote, in particular I need to know, the execution time.
I know it can be done using ITM (instrumentation Trace Macrocell), but the user guide from NXP does not provide info on how to do use it to profile a function.
Can someone pointing me to examples/material to learn how to use these advanced debugging tools?

Hi ErichS‌ , thanks a lot for the reply and for the beautiful blog (one of the best LPC resources... which I knew already!).
I will dig out the profiling as soon as I'm done with functional evaluation.
Unfortunately I'm in deep troubles using LPCOpen vcom example to stream data over USB between Matlab and my LPC4370.
