Refresh SDK Repository Issue

Hi,

I'm on Ubuntu 18.04 and since 2 days I've an issue when I open MCUXpresso IDE.

Once opened, the IDE (11.2.1) is doing a "Refresh SDK Repository..." and it takes full processing time (I see this with htop) until it crashes (internal error, see photo). I've downgraded to 11.1.1 (removing also all the config files from my home folder) and I have the same result.

I can't use anymore the IDE for my work! I can't figure out what is happening here.

My java version:

$ java -version
openjdk version "11.0.8" 2020-07-14
OpenJDK Runtime Environment (build 11.0.8+10-post-Ubuntu-0ubuntu118.04.1)
OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM (build 11.0.8+10-post-Ubuntu-0ubuntu118.04.1, mixed mode, sharing)

Any help or advice welcome,

Thank you,

Olivier

Hi,

I did a new workspace in a new fresh folder but inside a git versioning folder -> same problem.

Then I did a new workspace in a new fresh folder outside this folder -> it worked.

Problem solved, thank you.

Suggest you post the log file:

<workspace>/.metadata/.log

Also, try starting MCUXpresso with a new, empty workspace.
