MCUExpresso's ConfigTool

Hi !

I'm using Config tool what is embedded ti MCUExpresso. I have 2 different Pin configurations and I can't create

different Pin label and identifier for the same GPIO pin.

It would be nice if in one Functional group, pin have one label and identifier and on other group - other labels and identifier.

If this possible right now ?

Hello Eugene,

current Config Tools v4.1 and also upcoming v5.0 supports for one pin one label (common practice is to use slash "/" as separator for different functions, e.g. "J2[1]/D12[4]/LEDRGB_GREEN"). But in each functional group you can have different identifier. Using popup menu on the pin row e.g. in "Routed Pins" view select menu "Label and Identifier":

in the opened dialog you can define more identifiers - see the semicolon - it is the separator:

Now you can choose different identifier in each functional group.
