Running MCUX 11.5.1 -- In the Global Variables plot view, float data is truncated to integer before being plotted, which is not so useful. Is this a bug? or is there a setting I have missed?

Hi Peter,

It this the whole (scaled) graph? It looks to me like the graph goes a little above the 10 marking, so it don't think it truncates the values to integer. Can you please also share the values that appear in the Trace tab (next to the Plot)?

Hi Erich, thanks for the reply.

I replicated your result for my system, and did some more tests. The result is that the behaviour is inconsistent. It will usually work as expected, but occasionally the plot randomly decides to quantize the value to an integer. It seems to happen randomly for any debug session, and I can't seem to kick it out of the condition without restarting the debug session. I am using MCU-Link, but as you mentioned that probably doesn't matter -- it does always show the correct float value in the global vars window.

Not sure why it does not work for you, but it does for me:

I did use a J-Link, but this should not matter imho.
