MCUXpresso Config Tools eclipse project file not generated

Hi All,

On creating a new MKW41Z configuration or using an existing one from the SDK examples, the '.cproject' file and other files required by the eclipse based MCUXpresso IDE do not get generated. The source files that do get generated are board, startup and application main.c, besides that, the selected driver files in the 'Project Configuration' view of the Config tools do not get copied in to the destination project path.

The tools version are as follows on my PC:

MCUXpresso IDE:"MCUXpresso IDE v10.0.0 [Build 344] [2017-03-21] "

MCUXpresso Config Tools: Version 3.0

MK41Z SDK:SDK_2.2_FRDM-KW41Z

See attached '.mex' file.

Here is the step-by-step procedure copied from the documentation:

To open a generated project in the MCUXpresso IDE:

1. Start the MCUXpresso IDE.
2. Open Installed SDKs view and ensure that the SDK is installed.
3. Navigate to the Quickstart Panel view and select Import SDK example(s)….
4. Select SDK and click Next.
5. Click the Import from XML… button on the toolbar.
6. Select the generated XML file
7. In the list of examples, expand the Project Generator category and select the generated example.
8. Confirm to import.

Hi Yusuf Husainy,

for MCUXpresso IDE, there is generated 'xml' project file instead of native project file. Please follow documentation to import project into MCUXpresso IDE.
