PCIe enumeration in VxWorks

Hi, I am working on PCIe communication between ls1043a (RC) and beagle board (EP) in linux environment. Linux BIOS will do enumeration process and it identifies my Endpoint device automatically. In VxWorks, will the enumeration process be done automatically by BIOS (or) it is required to be done by the user by writing device drivers ?
