Hello community,

i have a question about the LS1046A DUART/LPUART interface.

In the LS1046A reference manual (Rev. 0, 01/2017) is written (yellow marked below) that the hardware flow control (CTS/RTS) is supported ONLY on LPUART1/LPUART2 and LPUART3.

I am using the CodeWarrior PinMuxing and it is possible to choose the hardware flow control (CTS/RTS-Signals) in LPUART and DUART.

Is it possible to use the hardware flow control in DUART as well?

Best regards,

Juergen

This statement in LPUART section is related to LPUART only and means that the only first three LPUARTs have these pins. Last three LPUARTs (LPUART4, LPUART5 and LPUART6) does not have flow control signals.

This statement is not related to DUART, this is completely different device block and described in Chapter 16 of Reference Manual.

Have a great day,
