Flex-Builder

Hi everyone,

I installed flex-builder following the guide in this document "Layerscape Software Development Kit User Guide, Rev. 20.12, 30 June 2021"

The installation seems to be done well.

When I go to generate LSDK composite firmware with the command:
flex-builder -i mkfw -m ls1043ardb -b sd I get nothing.

It tells me that I am missing the following packages:
1) binfmt-support
2) qemu-user-static

 

I tried installing the missing packages with commands

#binfmt-support:

1) sudo apt-get update -y

2) sudo apt-get install -y binfmt-support

#qemu-user-static:

1) sudo apt-get update -y

2) sudo apt-get install -y qemu-user-static

but I got nothing.

how should I proceed?

Ubuntu 20.04 LTS should be installed on the host machine

You need to build LSDK 21.08 under Ubuntu 20.04 host environment.
