Hi guys,

i want to create a new project with a LPC824 controller in a new workspace with LPCXpressoV8.0.0.
But, i dont get a window, where i can select the import of a CMSIS core library. (look @ image cmsis1)

If i choose another controller like the LPC1114, it is possible (look @ image cmsis2) to import the CMSIS core library. :O

Now, i am confused! Why is that :quest:

ok, i understood.

But why?
Should CMSIS not be the standard?

Is nxp cooking it´s own soup with lpcopen?

Where is the sence of a standard, if each vendor make it´s own libraries? :~
Maybe, it should not be, to give a software developer an easy way to change the manufacturer of a controller?

Because LPC11xx is a very old family (7 years), which started with CMSIS support  ;-)

Newer families are using LPCOpen, so there's no CMSIS available...
