Hello everyone,

I'd like to use LPCXpresso with lpc4078 ARM Cortex-M4 MCU.

Do you know what kind/model of jtags are supported by LPCXpresso?

No, Windows XP is not supported. v7.9.0 now introduces support for WIndows 10...

The last version of LPCXpresso that we tested on XP was 7.0.2.

Yes I was talking about the Debug Probe. Thanks for the hints.

Another question if you can answer in this post....

I've downloaded the latest LPCXpresso release (7.9.0_455).
It was written that LPCXpresso may continue to work on Windows XP, even if WXP is no longer supported, but when I started the installation the following error arises:

"This program does not support the version of Windows your computer is running"

Could you tell me the latest LPCXpresso version that I can use with Windows XP?

this board here http://www.nxp.com/demoboard/OM13038.html comes with a built in debugged which is allegedly compatible with LPCXpresso.
If you would rather have an external debugger, here's the LPC-Link 2 http://www.nxp.com/demoboard/OM13054.html :)

I assume that you are asking what types of Debug Probe is supported by LPCXpresso?

Basically, you need something that supports CMSIS-DAP, such as LPC-Link2, Ulink-ME, Ulink-Pro etc.

LPCXpresso also supports some older style adapters, including LPC-Link and Red Probe+.
