oops, I should have put more details. I'm running LPCXpresso_7.4.0_229, and the include file I'm referring to is \LPCXpresso_7.4.0_229\lpcxpresso\Examples\NXP\LPC4000\LPC43xx\LPC43xx_Libraries.zip\CMSIS_LPC43xx_DriverLib\inc\LPC43xx.h
I'm pointing to this include file in my main.c program, which is not using the spifi lib stuff but just needs to init and read an internal SD/MMC card on my custom LPC4357 board. Since I've written previous SD/MMC SPI interface code, I had just planned to turn on the card's SPI mode and access it using the SPIFI pins on the LPC4357. You could tell me I should use the SD/MMC interface but I can't because that is used for other functions (EMC). You could also tell me that I should use the SPIFI lib, which is a valid argument, but for now I want to try to bring up my existing code. In any event, my question is that whether or not I use the SPIFI lib, it doesnt seem logical to me that the base address for the SPIFI interface is not in the LPC43xx.h file, which has the base addresses for everything else I can see. Not a showstopper since I can put that define in myself somewhere--just wondering why..
