Hello,
after digging out my LPCXPresso LPC11C24 I updated from LPCXpresso 6 (maybe 5)  to 7. Because I make a lot of of tiny modifications I usually downloaded my 'applications' to RAM to save the flash live time. Therefore I just set SYSMEMREMAP to 0x1 in SystemInit() and modified in the MCU settings MFlash32 to 0x10000000 (size 0x1C00) and RamLoc8 to 0x10001C00). In the past that worked fine. But now I get

15: Target error from Register access
Cannot complete transaction, even after slowing speed.

and in console
...
v LPCXpresso Free License - Download limit is 256K
Executing in user flash.
SYSPLLSTAT read: Em(11). Cannot complete transaction, even after slowing speed.
Stopped: Locked-up, Sleeping, In-reset (Was Reset)  [Reset from  PowerOn, External, Watchdog, BrownOut, SysRes]: VectorCatch:Reset (PC unknown: cannot read registers) (VectorCatch,Breakpoint,Watchpoint,EDBGRQ)
Target error from Register access: Em(11). Cannot complete transaction, even after slowing speed.

when I start debugging. Did I forget something important in the last year or has something changed?

You are kidding? How long does your flash live?

Not really. Datasheet says a minimum of 10.000 write cycles. With about 150-200 writes a day it can become an issue.
But you're right: That only happens when I do it every day. And that is not the fact and the device should withstand at least 2 years.

Did you try to boot into ISP already?
No, but I can't remember doing that before.

Interesting result; thank you.
So I probably won't flash my device to death.

Tests are showing that Flash endurance is probably higher...

So you could flash it 20 years 200 times/day.  Until 2034  :)
