CMSIS DAP vs Redlink

I would like to ask what is better choice for debugging - CMSIS DAP or Redlink image for LPC-Link 2? I use LPCXpresso 8.1.4 and I´ve bought LPC-Link 2. I use LPC812, LPC824, LPC4310.

Are there any major differences?

Only CMSIS-DAP firmware is now supported in recent LPCXpresso IDE releases. But you still connect through what was called Redlink Server on your host PC, now known as LinkServer.
