Hi

I was trying to communicate the compass with lpc54s10 microcontroller evk board using uart.

I used j13 connector pin 13 for tx and pin 15 for rx of evaluation board.

I was not receiving data when i connected rx to pin 15 and tx to pin 13. Data started coming once i reversed the connection.

Why data is coming in reverse condition. Is there any pblm with uc pin or uc respective pin got damaged or not.

Hi,

For the LPC540xx board, as you have seen that the pin13 of J13 is the TX pin of Uart of LPC540xx, it must be connected to the RX pin of your compass.   The pin15 of J13 is the RX pin of Uart of LPC540xx, it must be connected to the TX pin of your compass.

Pls have a check.
