We added SPIFI support to the mass storage device example only for the NGX Xplorer boards. You will find this code at the bottom of the BSP file for this board: \libraries\BSP\NGX\bsp_NGX.c

We did not include this support for the Hitex A4 board because the memory device used has a 256k sector size and there was not enough internal SRAM to handle the required cache.

The code that does the actual interfacing to the SPIFI device is in a library that is linked in to this example. We do not provide source code in this library.

We will be releasing v0.95 of nxpUSBlib in a week or two which includes a MSC example that accesses SPIFI flash. Unfortunately it will not be referencing this exact part.
