I have always used 3 signals to the debugger header on my lpc111x designs so far: SWDIO, SWCLK & RESET. However I recently noticed that the LPC-LINK never pulls RESET low. So could I just leave RESET off the connector entirely? The reason I ask is that we are looking at the LPC8xx series with just 20 pins and being able to lose only 2 pins for debugging rather than 3 is a real plus.
